Michigan State University’s Skandalaris Football Center, designed by Integrated Design Solutions of Troy, Michigan, was named best Overall Design and Best Interior by “Metal Architecture”, in their 2009 Design Awards issue featuring exceptional use of metals in architectural design. sdi was engineer of record for this $17 million project, as well as the MSU athletic department’s weight room expansion and basketball locker room renovations. MSU’s athletic campus represents one of two Big Ten programs in the state for which sdi has engineered both football and basketball facilities.
